  The atmosphere was super family friendly. The music was fun. The wait staff were clearly working hard to take care of each table like we were family. I saw a comment on the dollar value of the food. Well, if you want a cheap burger with crappy people and dirty environment, then go to McDonald's. You look at a picture on the menu, that's what you get. It was cooked to perfection, super greasy in a good way! The applewood smoked bacon was freshly cooked, nothing was premade. Kids got stickers for dancing, it was a blast! Highly recommend Big Al's when in Manteo, NC!

  I fell in love with Big Al's as soon as I walked in. My grandfather passed away in April of this year and he retired from Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Ga. So I walk into this place and get immediately emotional because of all the Coca-Cola memorabilia. So I'm just in "awe" at this point, the girl that greeted us I had to apologize to because she was asking me questions and I was just in a totally different world at that moment.....We were seated promptly, waitress was extremely nice. The food was amazing other than the fries they were a little too greasy but edible for an 8yo....We will definitely be going back!
