  Great food at a great price. You know a place is good when the parking lot is full of local license plates at lunch time, my opinion is if the locals eat there it must be good. Wife ordered the fried catfish and loved it. I ordered the chef's selection which had shrimp, oysters, catfish, fries, and slaw. The oysters were not fried quite as much as I would of like, but were still pretty good, the rest of the meal was pretty damn tasty. The only place that we ate that didn't put onion in their slaw, so that's a huge plus as I hate onions. All in all we will definitely eat here again.

  The fried chicken was "grandmama good". Mmmhhhhmmmm! Friendly staff all around. Inexpensive for a fantastic meal.

  One of our favorite restaurants to visit on the Outer Banks. Darrell's has been around since 1960 and is a family-owned establishment. The service is consistently good and friendly. There are plenty of options for those who love seafood, and for those who eat no seafood. Highly recommend!

  It was amazing! I got the shrimp and flounder basket with mashed potatoes and it was the best flounder and shrimp ive ever eaten! Hands down a great place to eat. And when u come u have to try the fudge cake!
