  My wife and I had eaten here twice before and always found the service quick, friendly, and with a comprehensive menu. So, during a recent motorcycle ride with some friends, we recommended this place. It was a Sunday, around 130 so it was pretty crowded and we had to wait about 15 min for a table, understandably. however, we had to wait another 15 min before our server ever appeared. after she took our drink orders, we waited about another 15 min before she returned to take our entrée orders. then we never saw her again until we received our food, about 45 min later. we waited so long that I even spoke to the hostess about a party who arrived about 15 min after us who already received their food. she said she would have the manager speak to us. he finally came by, about 15 min later with no explanation or apology (even from the server).We were also disappointed in the very limited and "hoity-toidy" menu where I had to order off the Children's Menu just to get a cheese burger, and was then charged an extra $2 because I'm not a child....this place is probably the only "Grill" in Manteo that doesn't offer "adult" burgers.... anyway, needless to say that we'll never eat here again.

  Great meal...great atmosphere...good price...
  
  Went there in August, 2016. My wife and I shared the Tuna Sashimi appetizer, which was very good. I had the salmon - prepared perfectly. The views were great, the atmosphere above average, and the wait staff very friendly. Price was slightly above average, but well worth the $. Would go again.
